Canine Influenza Virus has been verified in Fayetteville, AR. Dogs who are exposed to it are 80-100% likely to become infected. With that in mind we are now requiring that all dogs be vaccinated. There are two vaccinations required, the first when the puppy is 12 weeks old, and the booster 3-4 weeks later.

Barn Hunt is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the country right now. Using their spectacular sense of smell, dogs find rats (safely confined in tubes to avoid any harm) amidst a maze of straw bales.

In this class, we will introduce you to the sport of Barn Hunt and cover the basic rules and regulations of the sport. And, of course, you and your dog will work together to find the rats! We’ll start at the very beginning, with just a small set of bales, and build up to help you and your canine companion learn the various obstacles.

Brace yourself for fun, excitement, further bonding with your dog, and…well, rats. (Don’t worry. They’re safely contained.)

Each class will run approximately 2 hours including set-up and take-down. All students are expected to help with setting up the course and cleaning up afterward, as these processes help you better understand the sport.

Please bring a crate for your dog, treats, a clicker if you and your dog are familiar with clicker training, a flat collar or harness (no prong collars, e-collars, or martingale collars), and a standard 6-foot leash. Retractable leashes are strictly prohibited.

There is high demand and limited space for this class, so be sure to enroll now to secure your spot.

$100 per 4-week module.
