Canine Good Citizen (CGC) – 8-Week Course

Begins Wed, August 6 @ 6:30 p.m.
The Canine Connection · 4936 W Wedington Dr, Fayetteville, AR
Tuition: $250 + tax

Earn the respected AKC Canine Good Citizen title while polishing real-world manners. Over eight weeks we’ll practice:

  • Polite greetings (people & dogs)

  • Loose-leash walking through crowds

  • Sit/Down & Stay with distractions

  • Calm reaction to noises and sudden movements

  • Supervised separation & grooming tolerance

The official CGC test is given on Week 8; passing teams may submit paperwork to the AKC for certification.

Prerequisite: Beginner Obedience or equivalent skills.
Vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, Canine Influenza (proof required).
Class Size: Limited—pre-registration and payment required (no walk-ins).

Our Golden Retriever is not very sociable. We started taking Andy here a few months ago. The staff is so good with him and helps him in many ways! They keep a close eye on all the dogs and are very loving to all! Andy loves going here!

i could not recommend this place more!!!!!! my puppy billie absolutely loves this place & so do i!! she's the first dog i've had on my own & leaving her when i go on work trips was challenging at first, but the staff at canine connection completely put me at ease. they are so kind and caring, and billie is also super happy when i get her back. i also LOVE that they post on social media frequently!

Truly amazing service and staff, I cannot recommend attending more! My dog Mira loves going to daycare. I always get diligent responses and the crew is amazing. Their pictures are adorable too!

My dog Stella absolutely loves The Canine Connection! She’s been going once a week (sometimes twice) for close to 2 years, and it’s definitely one of the highlights of her week. She can always tell when it’s a “school” day and is so excited to get in the car and go even though she isn’t a big fan of car rides in general. Stella gets to socialize with other dogs and gets so much energy out - she’s always super chill after she’s been at daycare. I’m so thankful we found this place. Highly recommend!

We love The Canine Connection! Our dog always gets so excited when she gets to go and loves getting to run around! The staff is so kind and really takes time to know your dog! We have sent her here for daycare and boarding and have never had an issue. We have and will continue to recommend the Canine Connection to any of our friends!
