As a “playcare” style boarding facility, our boarding dogs are out playing with the daycare dogs several hours each day. For that reason, dogs sleep in crates at night rather than the runs one would see at a traditional-style boarding kennel. (When you’re exhausted at the end of the day, you just need a place to lay your head; certainly not a place to pace.) It would not be fair to your dog to house him in a crate for 24 hours a day. He would do better in a traditional boarding kennel.
